Painted papers part 3

Here are three gorgeous papers from Carlene.
This top one is layers of tissue and other thin papers adhered to some type of light fabric.  Those circles are stitching.  It's really cool.



Karen M. made a batch of these beauties.  The ghostly writing is a quote by Thoreau and the layers and variation of color gives these a nice depth.

I was so excited to see that my mail-art pal Tallie joined this swap.
I adore the colors of those stripes.



The ever-inspiring Terrie made two sets of papers: 




 This last one features a really cool tissue paper "sandwich" technique.
When you hold it to the light it's partially translucent.
Terrie blogged about in this post.
I've been wanting to try it since I read about it last March.

I'm going to hold onto these papers a wee bit longer while I wait for Jo's to arrive from Australia.
Has anyone else mailed papers that I haven't posted yet?
