"E" IMAGES - COLLAGED Post Card Swap - Postmark by: MONDAY, July 10th

Participants in this post card exchange may layer many images of things that start with the letter "E."

Here are just a few idea starters:

Elephant, Envelope, Eyeball, Eggplant, Ear, Eatery, Eel, Earth, Elevator, Eraser, Estuary, Easel, Eclipse, for instance.

See how many you can come up with on your own (although it's OK to look in a dictionary).  Good image sources might be old books, magazines, catalogs, newspapers, etc.  Incorporate the images into your collaged design in post card format, to be exchanged with other participants.

Make sure your collage pieces are securely fastened, and adhesive is dry before you send in.  Waxed paper between each PC might be a good safety measure.

FREE HINT:  Magazine pictures tend to be glossy, so when I collage with them, I gently burnish the back of each piece with an emery board to lightly roughen up the glossy coat which will then take adhesive and adhere better to your background.

Oh, and list each item on the reverse side (message side) of your post card to make it easier  for your recipient to look for.  : )

Summary: for this exchange, make 1 - 5 collaged post cards featuring images of things that start with the letter "E."
