Valentines for a cause

Many thanks to Derrick Dodson, of "I Still Write" for tipping me off to this great project:

A radio station in California is collecting valentine's to distribute to kids in hospitals.

Want to get involved?
Cards need to be at the radio station by February 10th.

It does look, from the videos, that some of the kids are very little (toddler and preschool). Thus, we should be careful of any small decorations that might create a choking hazard were they to fall off.

Thanks for posting this, Karen. I forwarded Derrick's link to the leader of our children's group at church. Often leaders are looking for service activities that the older kids can do. This sounds like a perfect fit.

I'll be more than happy to send some! Totally "giving back" for all the postal love everyone sent for the RMA Project since it is now finished. I'll link it on Flickr too and send to the Letter Writers Alliance to promote also! Thanks for the info Karen!
