Here it is- the first group mail art swap theme for the New Year.  This one is about Shoes & Boots, any kinds, any styles, any sizes.

Use your choice of backgrounds and mediums/techniques:  paint, ink, sketch, collage, rubber stamps, etc.  Think winter boots, summer sandals, high heels, loafers, cowboy boots, ballet shoes, etc.

For this swap, as is usual, participants may make 1 - 4 post card sized pieces of art to exchange with other swappers.

CHECKLIST:

• ADDRESS LABELS FOR EACH PIECE YOU SEND IN 
• SUFFICIENT POSTAGE FOR EACH PIECE YOU SEND IN
• WAXED PAPER, PARCHMENT OR CELLOPHANE BETWEEN EACH PIECE
• YOUR RETURN ADDRESS (and email address if you wish) ON EACH PIECE YOU SEND IN

*****ANYTHING LARGER THAN POST CARD SIZE LIMITS WILL REQUIRE AT LEAST 58-CENTS LETTER RATE POSTAGE.*****

*****ANYTHING THICKER THAN SEVERAL LAYERS OF INDEX CARD, ANYTHING TOO STIFF TO BEND EASILY, DESIGNS WITH ART EXTENDING OVER THE EDGES, POST CARDS ENCASED IN CELLOPHANE SLEEVES, WILL REQUIRE at least 78-cents (NONMACHINABLE) POSTAGE

Put your card(s) in an envelope along with self-labels and loose postage, and get them postmarked 
by TUESDAY, January 18th
