ALTERED MINI-ROLODEX FILE CARDS SWAP- Postmark by April 26th - CORRECTED

By hhc
Some years ago we had several decorated Rolodex card exchanges that were super fun, a nice break from the post card format.

By hhc - March 2021

(It is SO much fun to flip through the tray or rotating holder and view the received art on both sides.)

It is also fun swapping one-on-one (Informal Swaps) with those who are interested in receiving more of these clever little art forms.

If you want more inspiration, check out this former Mini-Rolodex File Card Swap Listing from August 25, 2016 and the postings below it:

https://mailmesomeart.blogspot.com/search?q=Rolodex

By hhc - March 2021

SPECIFICS:  mini-Rolodex cards measure 4 inches across, 2+3/16th inches high with rounded corners and two notches cut out along the bottom edge to lock into filing trays.

By hhc
PARTICIPANTS:  alter/decorate 1 - 4 mini-Rolodex cards to be exchanged with swap partners.

By hhc
MEDIA:  collage, paint, ink, rubber stamping, etc.

ORIENTATION:  Your art may be oriented horizontally or vertically.

PLEASE put your name and email address or other contact info somewhere on each card.

By hhc
These should be mailed to the swap host in your own envelope along with a return business or greeting card envelope (folded up?) that includes postage and your return address and "TO" address label on it.

By hhc- March 2021
NOTE:  Thick/stiff/heavy collage may require 'package" mailing instead of going as a flat envelope.

HINT:  If you wrap your mini-Rolodex art individually in waxed paper or cellophane sleeves, then tape together side-by-side or end-to-end with Washi tape, they won't stick together, AND, they will lie flatter through the mail without shifting or bunching up and requiring more postage.

SOME STARTER IDEAS:  junk mail/ advertisements, Vintage images, postage stamps, fancy papers, cut-out words, stickers, Geli Plate printing, rubber stamping, sequins, stick-on "gems," Washi tape, paper doilies, lace, tatting, ribbon, Magic Mesh, low-profile paper/silk flowers. etc.
