A search for "Maps" in the sidebar half-way down the MMSA Home Page (right side) will bring up a variety of wonderful art using this fun theme.
Some ideas might include:
- drawing/painting your own (mythical?) map
- making a treasure map (antique or modern)
- cutting up real maps (or copies of) for collage elements
- splicing maps together to make a different design
- using maps as a background for other art
- adding imaginary details/places/features to a map that already exists, etc.
