ALL THINGS CHICKEN Post Card Swap - May 23

And another swap guest-hosted by Honi C.  Make 1 - 4 post cards using a "Chicken" theme.  Possibilities:  hens, roosters, chicks, eggs, nests, barnyards, feathers, feed sacks, cooked chicken, etc. Scratch your imagination and doodle-do have fun!  Any media or technique allowed.

Enclose your post cards with proper postage in an envelope, along with address labels for me to mail others' post cards to you.  (Thickly painted or glued collages should be separated by waxed paper to prevent sticking together during mailing.)

Update

Here's the reason things have been extra quiet around MMSA lately:

Meet Lily.
She is a one year old hound/lab mix that we adopted a few weeks ago.
In addition to this being my absolute busiest time of year at work (and in addition to the giant work project I'm doing on top of my regular job), I am now a dog owner!

We are all completely in love with her, but she has a huge amount of energy, and was not terribly well trained in the first year of her life.  She's a chewer, and is very interested in chasing the cat, and does not want me out of her sight.  Needless to say, she requires a lot of attention and supervision - it feels a little like having a newborn again.

There is light at the end of the tunnel.  I feel like we're starting to establish a routine, and that she's becoming less anxious as she settles in.  Also, the huge work deadline is a week away which means I'll have a little more time to breathe when the project is done.

I have some other swap descriptions in line, and with any luck I'll get them posted in the next day or two.

In the meantime, check out the "informal exchange" list and keep sending each other great mail.

Flowers & Triangles - ATC Swap - mail by May 9

Honi C. has volunteered to guest host an ATC swap  featuring  flowers and triangles.  Participants may  send in up to  4 pieces.  Options include flowers in  the shape of  triangles, triangle shapes filled with flower images, or  separate flowers and triangles.  (You may think of other  options.)  But both must be included  on each  ATC.    Calendars and gardening catalogs are a great source of inspiration.  Any medium or technique is allowed.
