I'm happy mine arrived. We've recently gotten some young, new postal clerks, and on the day I mailed the birds, I mailed a couple of other pieces of mail art as well. The poor guy (nice, but clearly terrified) was so flustered at pricing the nonstandard mail art, that it seemed that all his postal knowledge fled when faced with the ordinary envelope going to you. I wasn't sure that he was going to get the correct postage on it. "Well, I think one is a . . . uh . . . envelope. Yeah, it's an envelope, and so it needs a stamp, I guess . . . but, uh . . . it's about this big, and I suppose I should weigh it . . . yeah . . . hmm . . . "
I had nightmares of the birds landing in some postage-deficit equivalent of Hades, doomed to an eternity of flying around and around Dante's lower rings, unable to escape or be let out, all because of a catastrophic brain burp in this newbie clerk.

I am way too excited! Love them all!
I'm assuming that "Birds, Claudia - Rose" will be in another post? I sent some, and haven't seen them yet.
Never fear! I have over 40 more birds to share, including yours.
