zentangle swap - due March 24th

Calling all Zentanglers!
It’s time for our first ever Zentangle swap.
You can decide whether you want to make an ATC, or a postcard, or a traditional square Zentangle "tile" - any size/format is acceptable.  The art will be mailed to you partner in an envelope.

What is a Zentangle, you ask?
It’s more than just doodling on a page.
It's the intentional, meditative use of specific repetitive patterns.
You can read all about them and find lots of great patterns here, or here. (or a million other places on the web.)

Swap details:
  • create a Zentangle on any size substrate.  Please use a sturdy, nice quality paper.  You can create a traditional 3 1/2 inch square "tile", or an ATC, or a rectangular postcard, or really any other size/shape you want.
  • make as many as you like - you will get back the same number you send
  • sign the back of your work, include your contact info, and write “MMSA Zentangle”on it to remind your recipient why they are receiving this wonderful work of art in the mail
  • include an address label and postage.  don't worry about including an envelope.  Since there is not a specific size qualification, I don't know what I'll be sending back to you.  I've got loads of wonderful envelopes around here that I can recycle for this swap.
  • send me the same amount of postage it costs you to send the items to me.
  • international swappers are welcome - the postage cost is $1.15 for up to one ounce.  Unless you're sending me tons of cards, $1.15 will probably cover it.  (paypal account is iamrushmore@gmail.com)

Mail your cards no later than  March 24th (I don’t need to receive them by the 24th, they need to be postmarked by the 24th)
