informal mail art exchange

Interested in a less formal way to send and receive art in the mail?   Here is where you can find the names and addresses of others who enjoy sending hand made postcards or other types of mail art.  Add your name and address in the comments, and feel free to introduce yourself!  If you don't feel comfortable posting your address, just start sending mail, and include a return address. You are extremely likely to get great mail in return.

I'd like to use this page for addresses only.  If you want to leave a comment for another artist, use the tab at the top of the page that says "received" and leave your comments on that page instead.
It makes this list a lot easier to read when there are no additional comments.  Thanks!

It's also really helpful if you put your email address and return mailing address on every piece of mail you send.  That way the person you send to can easily respond to you and thank you for your work!

  15. I would love to swap mail art with someone. I am a wife/mom/friend/daugher/sister in my late 30's. I live in Las Vegas and love the desert living. I could eat Mexican food every meal, my favorite thing to cook is my homemade tomatillo salsa. My hobbies include: making Smashbooks, handcrafted cards, writing on my cooking blog, and I love writing and designing mail. So much fun! Write me! Nothing makes my day like a decorated envelope. ;)

I would LOVE to get a small piece of art in return to add to my art journals or altered books (I'm working on 4 right now). I love bright colors. Oddities. Grungy stuff. Thanks for making this available. I am beyond excited!

  37. Anyone who likes long letters that lead to friendship correspondences? I'm slow—like it may take me 6-8 weeks to reply—but I enjoy writing long letters about thoughts, feelings, interesting experiences. Not just "this is who I am and what I do," but some meaty content, chewy prose, words that paint pictures. I'm talking like at least 6 pages on 8 1/2" by 11" paper (I have large handwriting). 'Doesn't have to be handwritten: typed and printed is good, too. I have an old Remington manual I might write you back on. If you've read this far, you're into reading and writing, so give it a whirl...
